Post Mortem
Tower defense is one of the first if not the first type of game I played on the internet and is still one of my favorite things on earth.
So when I started this devtober (my first) and had no idea of what to do, my brain went back to a good old TD.
But let's start with what went wrong :
When it started I planned on keeping a week to make art at the end (that didn't go so well),
I ctrlZ to many times resulting in a lot of crashes in unity making me lose a lot of times.
Mid october was rough and I kinda lost motivation slowing down my progress furthermore (still worked everyday just not as much).
Didn't have time to try and make music and sound effect, would've been fun.
Now what went well:
I ended up with the 21 turrets I planned at the beginning.
Also got better at handeling the UI in Unity there is still a lot to do but I'm progressing !
Got to play around with the particle tool which is incredibly fun but quite frutrating at first when not following a tuto.
Worked everyday even when i really didn't feel like it.
Overall I loved working on this little project it's not quite as finished as I would've wanted but I'm still glad I went through with it and for a project that was started for the devtober I'm still quite happy with the final porduct.
